Rejoice in the Lord Always, and again i say Rejoice! Phillipians 4:4.
There is a bait the enemy sets before us; which is a trap to our soul. It’s usually a bait for anxiety, fear and worry with the intention to get our focus off God. Whenever the devil can successfully get your focus on yourselves and weaknesses, rather than on the Faithfulness of God and His finished works in our lives, he has gotten you in a place of oppression.
For instance, if you have a miracle he’ll try to make you believe that you did it yourself but if you had no miracle he’ll say it was your fault for not having it. What was Jesus’ stand on this?
Luke 10:19-20 (KJV) says
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
What was the message here? Well for one, Jesus was saying, Let not your Joy be based on things and happening of wonders in your life or a lack of it. Rather let it be based on Him (Christ Jesus) and your eternal union with Him
Are you a Believer in Christ Jesus? Then Rejoice in the reality of your redemption in Him. Rejoice that you are known by Him and He is known by you, knowing that He has a place for you in heaven. REFUSE To be downcast over situations and Challenges, but Choose to Rejoice! And the tide would turn in your favour!
Rejoice! That your Name is written in the book of life! Meaning you are not dead but Alive in Christ Jesus. Rejoice! That you Belong to HIM and HE Belongs to You!
